McLennan Community College - Celebrating 40 Years of Serving Central Texas

A history of McLennan Community College, from its inception and founding in 1966, to its development over its first 40 years. It includes photographs, news coverage, and original documents that illustrate the college's place within the community.

This book was created as a project to commemorate the College's 40th Anniversary in 2006-2007. It explores the "vision" of leaders who worked to found the college, and the development and leadership through the years of its president Wilbur A. Ball, followed by president Dennis F. Michaelis. It also traces the establishment and development of the physical campus, and plans for the future of the college.
