Built for $4 million dollars in 1986, the Ball Performing Arts Center features a 350-seat auditorium, recording studios, scenery construction shop, ensemble rehearsal halls and individual price rooms, enhancing and support McLennan's theater and musical programs. Designed by CRS Sirrine, Inc., and built by R. B. Butler, Inc., the building was dedicated to and named for McLennan's first president, Wilbur Alan Ball.
